Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga vinyasa yoga is the form of yoga made popular by Sri K Pattabhi Jois and is a dynamic yoga using the breath to flow from one sequence to the next.
I have been practicing this form of yoga for the last four years and am currently undergoing teacher training with Brian Cooper whilst also working with my own teachers and attending workshops.
My physical practice continues to evolve but Ashtanga yoga offers me so much more than just movement on my mat. It allows me to still my mind and let go of the everyday worries and distractions and just inhabit a place of calm and tranquility.
I am currently offering beginners Ashtanga yoga, within the Diss area of Norfolk, for classes, small groups or individuals working primarily on the standing sequence and then moving through the seated sequence of the first series as appropriate.
